PROJECT INFORMATION

The Arapoty project, or also known as ‘Strengthening public institutions and civil society for the promotion, prevention, and comprehensive protection of children and adolescents victimized by human trafficking’ is a project financed by the EuropeAid program of the European Commission that is developed in the departments of Caaguazú, Itapúa, Ñeembucú, Central and the city of Asunción (Paraguay).

The main objective of this project is to promote the effective application and implementation of laws, plans, and programs in force on trafficking in persons with a gender perspective, specifically of children and adolescents, and the monitoring of these by civil society. For the promotion, prevention, and comprehensive protection of children and adolescents victimized by human trafficking in Paraguay.

OUR PARTNER

Arapoty lasts 24 months and we share a consortium with the Coordinadora por los Derechos de la Infancia y la Adolescencia (Paraguay), Global Infancia (Paraguay) and the Universidad Nacional de Villa María (Argentina).
