PROJECT INFORMATION
USR-NET is the European Network of Socially Responsible Universities, a project financed by the Erasmus + program, Key Action 2 Strategic Associations. In recent decades, a growing number of European universities have begun to incorporate University Social Responsibility (MSW) as part of the institution’s strategy.
However, most of them still find barriers to carry them out, among which are the lack of political-institutional commitments that promote it. Furthermore, there is a need to reach a consensus on the term RSU that prevents universities from having different perspectives and using different strategies.
In this sense, the project aims to support the implementation of the necessary reforms in the universities to make them socially responsible, develop a consensual concept about USR in Europe and promote awareness of the need for cross-cutting integration of the RSU in all universities.
